How lists feed the shortlist

The page subtitle shows the supplier priority Quote Hub applies: Client ASL → Score ACL → LTSA → Score AVL. After the lists, Quote Hub also considers suppliers with relevant purchase history, then OEMs and authorised agents of the brand that are on no list.

Where suggested suppliers come from, in priority order
  1. 1Client ASLThe client's own approved supplier list. Mandatory for clients that enforce it (e.g. Woodside).
  2. 2Score ACLScore's approved contractor list for the brand and product type.
  3. 3LTSASuppliers with a long-term supply agreement — agreed discount and lead time.
  4. 4Score AVLScore's approved vendor list.
  5. 5Purchase historySuppliers Score has bought the same part or brand from in the last 24 months.
  6. 6New supplierOnly when nothing above fits; needs a justification.
Within each tier, suppliers are ranked on 12-month price and lead time, on-time delivery and quality. The sales engineer picks up to three; only those go to the hub.

For each enquiry line, an entry counts only when:

  • its status is approved or conditional (suspended entries are skipped),
  • its Valid to date has not passed,
  • for a Client ASL entry, the enquiry is from that client,
  • its manufacturer and product type match the line. An entry without a manufacturer applies to the brands the supplier represents.

A supplier's highest list decides its place on the shortlist. If the client's Supplier list rule is Client ASL mandatory and at least one Client ASL supplier covers the enquiry, every other supplier is marked excluded. See Sourcing.

Good to know

  • Suppliers added with New supplier join the Score AVL as conditional, pending qualification.
  • Load or refresh entries with the Approved lists import on Data imports. Re-importing an entry updates the existing row rather than adding a duplicate.
  • Conditional approvals are shown as "Conditionally approved" in the shortlist reasons, so the buyer can see them.
